1. உலக ஒற்றுமை | Global Unity

எல்லை பலவாயினும் ஏகமாம் மண்ணுலகு;
தொல்லை பிறர்க்கெனின் தமக்கு.

பொருள்: உலகம் பல நாடுகளாகப் பிரிந்திருந்தாலும், ஒருவரின் துன்பம் இறுதியில் அனைவரையும் பாதிக்கும்.

Though the world is divided by many borders, it remains one Earth. The suffering of one people eventually becomes the concern of all.

2. சுற்றுச்சூழல் | Environment

மரம்காக்கும் மாந்தரைக் காக்கும்; அதனழிவு
உரமாகும் மானுடமே.

பொருள்: மரங்களை அழிப்பது மனித இனத்தின் எதிர்காலத்தையே அழிப்பதாகும்.

Those who protect trees protect humanity itself. The destruction of forests ultimately destroys human well-being.

3. பொருளாதாரம் | Economy

செல்வம் சிலர்கைப் புகினும் செழிப்பன்று;
எல்லார்க்கும் எய்தலே பேறு.

பொருள்: செல்வம் சிலரிடம் குவிவது வளர்ச்சி அல்ல; அனைவரும் முன்னேறுவதே உண்மையான வளர்ச்சி.

Prosperity is not the accumulation of wealth in a few hands; true progress is when its benefits reach everyone.

4. அரசியல் | Governance

மக்கள்நலம் காக்கா மன்னவன் ஆட்சியது
வெக்கையுள் வைத்த பனி.

பொருள்: மக்களின் நலனைப் பாதுகாக்காத ஆட்சி வெயிலில் வைத்த பனிபோல் விரைவில் கரையும்.

A government that fails to protect the welfare of its people will melt away like ice placed under the blazing sun.

5. தகவல் யுகம் | Information Age

ஆய்ந்தறியாச் சொல்லினை ஆர்வத்தால் பகிர்வார்
தீயினைத் தூவும் கையர்.

பொருள்: உண்மையைச் சரிபார்க்காமல் தகவல்களைப் பரப்புபவர்கள் தீயைப் பரப்புபவர்களுக்கு ஒப்பானவர்கள்.

Those who spread unverified information are like people scattering sparks into dry grass, unknowingly spreading fire.

6. கல்வி | Education

அறிவுடைமை யாதெனின் அன்னவன் தன்னினும்
பிறர்நலம் எண்ணும் மனம்.

பொருள்: உண்மையான கல்வி பிறரின் நலனை எண்ணும் மனதை உருவாக்க வேண்டும்.

The true mark of education is not knowledge alone, but a mind that cares for the welfare of others.

7. தொழில்நுட்பம் | Technology

அறமிலா அறிவின் வளர்ச்சி உலகிற்கு
நெருப்பினுள் எண்ணெய்தான்.

பொருள்: அறநெறியற்ற அறிவியல் வளர்ச்சி, நெருப்பில் எண்ணெய் ஊற்றுவது போன்றது. அது நன்மையை விட தீமையையே அதிகரிக்கும்.

Knowledge without ethics is like pouring oil into a fire. Scientific progress without moral guidance can magnify destruction.

8. மருத்துவம் | Healthcare

வருமுன்னர் காக்கும் வழியதே மருத்துவம்;
வந்தபின் மருந்தது துணை.

பொருள்: உண்மையான மருத்துவம் நோய் வராமல் காப்பதே; மருந்து அதன் பின்வரும் உதவி மட்டுமே.

The highest form of medicine is prevention. Treatment and medicine are only the support that follows illness.

9. போரும் அமைதியும் | War and Peace

வென்றாரும் தோற்றாரும் வேறல்லர்; போர்தரும்
நன்றொன்றும் நாணும் இல.

பொருள்: போரில் வென்றவரும் தோற்றவரும் இறுதியில் இழப்பையே சந்திக்கிறார்கள்.

The victor and the defeated are not truly different in war; both bear its losses, and neither gains lasting honour.

10. மனிதகுலம் | Humanity

உயிரெல்லாம் ஓருடல் உறுப்பெனக் காண்பார்க்கு
உயிர்கொல்லும் எண்ணம் இல.

பொருள்: எல்லா உயிர்களையும் ஒரே உடலின் உறுப்புகளாகக் காண்பவர்க்கு வன்முறைக்கான எண்ணமே தோன்றாது.

To one who sees all life as parts of a single body, the thought of harming another living being never arises.

திருக்குறள் காலத்தை வென்றது அதன் சொற்களால் அல்ல; அதன் சிந்தனைகளால்.
இந்த நவீனக் குறள்களும் தொழில்நுட்பம், சுற்றுச்சூழல், பொருளாதாரம், மருத்துவம், உலக ஒற்றுமை போன்ற இன்றைய சவால்களைப் பேசினாலும், அவற்றின் அடிப்படைச் செய்தி ஒன்றே:

"மனிதன் தனித்து வாழ்வதில்லை; உலகுடன் இணைந்து வாழ்கிறான்."
